The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines lighthouse as: “A structure (such as a tower) with a powerful light that gives continuous or intermittent signal to navigators.”
Lighthouses have always fascinated me. In my travels around the world, I have seen many. I will share photographs of a few of them in the coming weeks in my “Theme Monday” posts.

Your lighthouse theme is very intriguing. I too have always been fascinated by lighthouses and also the folks that choose this as a career path. Providing guidance and safety to many while living an often solitary life of their own. Looking forward to your series

Thanks you Cuz. I have pictures of so many lighthouses, many from the Thousand Islands that I’ll post two at a time.
